Not that the Suns have set, it's time to set our eyes on the New Orleans Hornets. I think that the Hornets are a tough matchup, but at least I don't hate them with the same ferocity I do those dang Suns. I'm predicting a Spurs win in 6. What a stupid mascot, Hornets...as in bees??? Whatever, just get a flyswatter and smash them or you can throw rocks and knock down their hive.



Hey...maybe I should start a game like Lori's American Idol thing? Anyone want to make a prediction before game 1? We could even predict all of the round 2 matchups (when we know what they are) Come on, who's with me???

Birthday Pranks

Just wanted to take a sec to thank all of you who were nice enough to call me....at the same time! Wow, did I feel love. I couldn't decide if it was Ned's idea to see how I would "rank" the Chamberlains in how I called them back and who was the ultimate "phone face-off" winner, or if it was Lori's idea to play Steef Roulette to see who was the poor soul who got stuck talking to me. Either way, I want each and everyone of you to die a slow painful death.

It's PLAYOFF TIME baby!!

I had just put on a new wallpaper for the computer (that you can get here: http://spursreport.com/upload/files/Wallpaper_1280.jpg) when Bailey comes in and wanted to know what happened to the computer. I told her it was playoff time to see who the new champions would be...the defending champion Spurs or those dasterdly Suns. Bailey broke out into an impromtu chant of "Allright, let's go....S..A...N...space...A...N...T... I think she noticed I couldn't stop laughing because she started hitting me and rolling her eyes and didn't even bother to complete the chant.

Easter Eve

Steve and I have taken the liberty of contacting the Easter Bunny directly and requesting that he come to our house on Friday night instead of Saturday. He has always been very kind and willing to grant us this favor. The girls now refer to it as Easter Eve Morning.

Somewhere in the last 10 years I have finally had to admit to myself that I do NOT enjoy coloring Easter eggs. I know, I know! Who doesn't love the thrill of that little plop sound as you drop a boiled egg (possibly the most uninteresting food on the planet) into a cup of colored vinegar water, sit and wait 5 minutes and then do it all over again-and again-and again..... Anyway, this year we found a dye kit that was a little more "hands on". THe kids really enjoyed it and, amazingly, so did I. When we were done everyone and everything was covered in glitter.
